لمّا بلَغَ ذلك العيدُ الأخيرُ للشعبWhen that last feast of the people had comeQuand cette dernière fête du peuple fut arrivéeKad mati wo haw ’ad’ido hroyo d’amo

ܛܰܝ̣ܶܒ ܢܰܦܫܶܗ ܐܶܡܪܳܐ ܠܩܶܛܠܳܐ ܕܠܳܐ ܣܰܟܠܽܘܬܳܐ

أعدَّ الحملُ نفسَه للقتل، وهو بلا إثمٍThe Lamb prepared himself for the slaughter, being without guiltL’Agneau s’est préparé au meurtre, lui qui est sans fauteTayeb nafsheh emro l’qetlo d’lo sakhlouto

ܣܠ̣ܶܩ ܗ̱ܘ̣ܳܐ ܕܰܟܝܳܐ ܠܡܶܬܩܰܪܳܒܽܘ ܚܠܳܦ ܟܽܠ ܕܶܒܚܺܝ̈ܢ

صعِدَ الطاهرُ للتقدمةِ عِوَضًا عن كلِّ الذبائِحThe pure one went up to be offered in place of all the sacrificesLe pur est monté pour être offert à la place de tous les sacrificesSleq wo dakhyo l’metqarobou hlof koul debhin

ܕܗ̣ܽܘ ܒܰܩܢܽܘܡܶܗ ܥܒ̣ܰܕ ܕܽܘܟܳܝܳܐ ܕܟܽܠܗܽܘܢ ܥܰܡ̱̈ܡܶܐ
