طْعِمْ مَوْتُا مْشِيْحُا بَفْغَرْChrist tasted death by the fleshLe Christ a goûté à la mort en chairT’em mawto Mshiho ba’fgar

ܥܰܠ ܩܰܝܣܳܐ ܕܰܙܩܺܝܦܽܘܬܳܐ

عَلْ قَيْسُا دَزْقِيْفُوْتُاOn the wood of the crossSur le bois de la croix’Al qayso da’zqifouto

ܘܰܢܚ̣ܶܬ ܠܰܫܝܽܘܠ ܕܳܘܺܝܬܳܐ

وَنْحِتْ لَشْيُوْلْ دُوِيْتُاAnd descended into the wretched hellEt descendit dans l’enfer misérableWanhet lashyoul dowito
