وتآمَرَ الصالبونَ على قتلِ البريءAnd the crucifiers conspired to kill the innocentEt les crucificateurs ont conspiré pour tuer l’innocentW’robou soloubé ’al mawteh d’zakoyoܐܶܬܟܰܪܟ̣ܽܘܗ̱ܝ ܕܺܐܒ̈ܶܐ ܣܳܪ̈ܽܘܚܶܐ
أحاطَتْ به الذئابُ الضاريةThe savage wolves surrounded himLes loups sauvages l’ont entouréEtkarkhou dibé sorouhéܘܒܰܣ̣ܒܶܣܘ ܗ̱ܘ̣ܰܘ ܠܶܐܡܪܳܐ ܕܠܳܐ ܡܽܘܡܳܐ
وافترسَتِ الحمَلَ الّذي لا عيبَ فيهAnd devoured the lamb who was without blemishEt dévoré l’agneau qui était sans tacheW’basbesou waw l’emro d’lo moumoܛܥ̣ܶܢ ܟܺܐܒ̈ܶܐ ܒܳܨܶܒܝܳܢܶܗ ܘܚ̣ܰܪܰܪ ܟܽܠ ܒܰܨܠܺܝܒܶܗ
حملَ الآلامَ بإرادتِهِ فحرَّرَ الجميعَ بصليبِهHe bore the sufferings by His will, and thus freed everyone with his crossIl a porté les souffrances de sa propre volonté, libérant ainsi tout le monde par sa croix
