وثارَ الصالبونَ لإماتةِ البريءAnd the crucifiers rose up for the death of the innocent oneEt les crucificateurs se sont soulevés pour la mort de l’innocentW’robou soloubé ’al mawteh d’zakoyo

ܐܶܬܟܰܪܟ̣ܽܘܗ̱ܝ ܕܺܐܒ̈ܶܐ ܚܳܛܽܘ̈ܦܶܐ

أحاطَتِ الذئابُ الخاطفةThe ravening wolves surrounded himLes loups rapaces l’ont entouréEtkarkhouy dibé hotoufé

ܠܗܰܘ̇ ܐܶܡܪܳܐ ܕܡܽܘܡܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ ܒܶܗ

بالحمَلِ الّذي لا عيبَ فيهThat lamb in whom there is no blemishCet agneau en qui il n’y a aucune tacheL’haw emro d’moumo lo it beh

ܛܥ̣ܶܢ ܟܺܐܒ̈ܶܐ ܒܨܶܒܝܳܢܶܗ ܘܚ̣ܰܪܰܪ ܟܽܠ ܒܰܨܠܺܝܒܶܗ

حمَلَ الآلامَ بإرادتِهِ وبصليبِه حرَّرَ الكلّHe bore the sufferings by his own will and freed all by his crossIl a porté les souffrances de sa propre volonté et a libéré tous par sa croixT’en kibé b’sebyoneh w’harar koul ba’slibeh

ܬܰܘܕܺܝ ܠܛܳܒܳܐ ܕܫ̣ܰܕܰܪ ܠܰܢ ܠܺܝܚܺܝܕܶܗ

الشكرُ للصالحِ الّذي أرسلَ لنا وحيدَهThanks be to the Good One who sent us his Only-BegottenGrâce soit rendue au Bon qui nous a envoyé son UniqueTawdi l’tobo d’shadar lan l’ihideh

ܘܰܐܫ̣ܠܶܡ ܢܰܦܫܶܗ ܥܰܠ ܐܰܦܰܝ̈ܢ ܒܰܙܩܺܝܦܳܐ

فأسلمَ نفسَهُ من أجلِنا على الصليبAnd he gave himself up for our sake upon the crossEt il s’est livré pour nous sur la croixWa’shlem nafsheh ’al afayn ba’zqifo

ܗܳܐ ܦܰܓܪܶܗ ܝܰܗ̱ܒ̣ ܠܰܢ ܡܶܐܟܽܘܠܬܳܐ

ها قد وهبَنا جسدَه مأكلًاBehold, he gave us his body as foodVoici, il nous a donné son corps en nourritureHo faghreh yab lan mekhoulto

ܘܰܕܡܶܗ ܬܽܘܒ ܟܳܣܳܐ ܕܦܽܘܪܩܳܢܳܐ

ودمَهُ أيضًا كأسَ خلاصAnd his blood also, a cup of salvationEt son sang aussi, une coupe de salutWa’dmeh toub koso d’fourqono

ܫܽܘܒܚܳܐ ܠܳܟ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ ܕܰܒܡܰܘܬܳܟ ܐܰܚܺܝ̣ܬܳܢ

المجدُ لك يا ألله لأنّكَ بموتِكَ أحيَيْتَناGlory to you, O God, for by your death you gave us lifeGloire à toi, ô Dieu, car par ta mort tu nous as fait vivreShoubho lokh Aloho da’bmawtokh ahiton
