ܠܒܽܘܫܳܐ ܕܣܰܥܪܳܐ ܐܰܬܩ̣ܶܢ ܗ̱ܘ̣ܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܢܰܟܦܳܐ ܘܙܰܗܝܳܐ

لباسَ الوبرِ أعدَّ لذاتِه، ذلكَ العفيفُ والبهيّA garment of hair he made for himself, that chaste and radiant oneUn vêtement de poil il s’est fait, lui, le chaste et le radieuxLbousho d’sa’ro atqen wo leh nakfo w’zahyo

ܘܰܒܣܶܓ̈ܕܳܬܳܐ ܫܰܥܒ̣ܶܕ ܢܰܦܫܶܗ ܘܡܰܟ̣ܶܟ ܦܰܓܪܶܗ

وبالسجداتِ أخضعَ نفسَهُ وأذَلَّ جسدَهُAnd by prostrations he subdued his soul and humbled his bodyEt par les prosternations il a soumis son âme et humilié son corpsWa’bseghdoto sha’bed nafsheh w’makekh faghreh
