ܝܳ݀ܬܶܒ ܒܣܶܬܳܪܶܗ ܕܰܡܪܰܝܡܳܐ

ألسَّاكِنُ في كَنَفِ العَلِيِّHe who dwells in the shelter of the Most HighCelui qui habite à l’abri du Très-HautYotéb b’sétoreh da’mraymo

ܘܰܒܛܶܠܳܠܶܗ ܕܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܡܶܫ̇ܬܰܒܰܚ

يَبيتُ في ظلِّ القَديرAnd is glorified in the shadow of GodEt qui se glorifie à l’ombre de DieuWabtelloleh d’Aloho meshtabah

ܐܶܡ̣ܰܪ ܠܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܬܽܘܟܠܳܢܝ ܒܶܝܬ ܓܰܘܣܝ

يَقولُ لِلرَّبِّ: أَنتَ مُعتَصَمي وحِصْنيSay to the Lord: you are my trust, my refugeDis au Seigneur : tu es mon appui, mon refugeEmar l’Moryo touklon bét gaws

ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ ܕܰܬܟܺܝܠ ܐ̱ܢܳܐ ܥܠܰܘܗ̱ܝ

إِلهي الَّذي علَيه أَتوكَّلMy God, in whom I trustMon Dieu, en qui je me confieAloho da’tkhil no ’law

ܕܗ̣ܽܘ ܢܦ̣ܰܨܶܝܟ ܡܶܢ ܦܰܚ̈ܶܐ ܕܬܽܘܩܰܠܬܳܐ

هو الَّذي يُنقِذُكَ مِن فَخِّ الصَّيَّادFor he will deliver you from the snares of stumblingCar il te délivrera des pièges du trébuchementD’hou nfasék men fahé d’touqalto

ܘܡܶܢ ܡܰܡܠ̱ܠܳܐ ܕܰܣܪܺܝܩܽܘܬܳܐ

ومِنَ الوَباءِ الفتَّاكAnd from the speech of vanityEt de la parole de vanitéW’men mamlo da’sriqouto

ܒܶܐܒܖ̈ܰܘܗ̱ܝ ܢܦ̣ܰܨܶܝܟ

يُظَلِّلُكَ بِريشِهWith his pinions he will deliver youDe ses plumes il te délivreraBebraw nfasék

ܘܰܬܚܶܝܬ ܟܶܢܦܰܘ̈ܗ̱ܝ ܬܶܣ̣ܬܰܬܰܪ

وتَعتَصِمُ تَحتَ أَجنِحَتِهAnd under his wings you will find shelterEt sous ses ailes tu trouveras abriWathét kenfaw testatar

ܙܰܝܢܳܐ ܢܶܚ̣ܕܪܳܟ ܩܽܘܫܬܶܗ

وحَقُّه يكونُ لَكَ تُرسًا ودِرْعًاHis truth will surround you as armorSa vérité t’entourera comme une armureZayno nehdrokh qoushteh

ܠܳܐ ܬܶܕܚ̣ܰܠ ܡܶܢ ܕܶܚܠܬܶܗ ܕܠܺܠܝܳܐ

فلا تَخْشى اللَّيلَ وأَهوالَهDo not fear the terror of the nightNe crains pas la terreur de la nuitLo tedhal men dehlteh d’lilyo

ܘܡܶܢ ܓܶܐܪܳܐ ܕܦܳܪܰܚ̇ ܒܺܐܝܡܳܡܳܐ

ولا سَهْمًا في النَّهارِ يَطيرُNor the arrow that flies by dayNi la flèche qui vole le jourW’men gé’ro d’forah bimomo

ܘܡܶܢ ܡܶܠܬܳܐ ܕܰܡ̇ܗܰܠܟܳܐ ܒܚܶܫܽܘܟܳܐ

ولا وَباءً في الظَّلامِ يَسْريNor the word that walks in the darknessNi la parole qui marche dans les ténèbresW’men melto dam’halkho b’heshoukho

ܘܡܶܢ ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܕܫܳܝ̇ܕܳܐ ܒܛܰܗܪܳܐ

ولا آفَّةً في الظَّهيرةِ تَفتُكNor the spirit that ravages at noonNi l’esprit qui ravage à midiW’men rouho d’shoydo b’tahro

ܢܶܦ̣ܠܽܘܢ ܡܶܢ ܣܶܛܪܳܟ ܐܰܠܦ̈ܶܐ

يَسقُطُ عن جانِبِكَ أَلْفٌA thousand will fall at your sideMille tomberont à ton côtéNefloun men setrokh alfé

ܘܖ̈ܶܒܘܳܬܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܝܰܡܺܝܢܳܟ

وعن يَمينِكَ عَشَرَةُ آلافAnd ten thousand at your right handEt dix mille à ta droiteW’rebwoto men yaminokh

ܘܰܠܘܳܬܳܟ ܠܳܐ ܢܶܬܩ̣ܰܪܒܽܘܢ

ولاشَيءٌ يُصيبُكَBut they will not come near youMais ils ne s’approcheront pas de toiWalwotokh lo netqarboun

ܐܶܠܳܐ ܒܥܰܝ̈ܢܰܝܟ ܒܰܠܚܽܘܕ ܬܶܚ̣ܙܶܐ

حَسبُكَ أَن تَنظُرَ بِعَينَيكَOnly with your eyes will you lookDe tes yeux seulement tu regarderasElo b’aynayk balhoud tehzé

ܘܦܽܘܪ̈ܥܳܢܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܕܖ̈ܰܫܺܝܥܶܐ ܬܶܚ̣ܙܶܐ

فتُعايِنَ جَزاءَ الأَشْرارAnd you will see the recompense of the wickedEt tu verras le salaire des méchantsW’four’onayhoun d’rashi’é tehzé

ܡܶܛܽܘܠ ܕܰܐܢ̱ܬ ܗ̱ܽܘ̣ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܬܽܘܟܠܳܢܝ

لأَنَّكَ قُلتَ: الرَّبُّ مُعتَصَميFor you, O Lord, are my trustCar c’est toi, Seigneur, mon appuiMetoul dat hou Moryo touklon

ܕܒܰܡܖ̈ܰܘܡܶܐ ܣܳܡ̣ܬ ܡܰܥܡܪܳܟ

وجَعَلْتَ العَليَّ لَكَ مَلْجَأًYou who have set your dwelling in the heightsToi qui as placé ta demeure dans les hauteursD’bamrawmé somt ma’mrokh

ܠܳܐ ܬܶܩܪܽܘ̣ܒ ܠܳܟ ܒܺܝܫܬܳܐ

الشرُّ لا يَنالُكَEvil will not come near youLe mal ne t’atteindra pasLo teqroub lokh bishto

ܘܰܡܚܽܘܬܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܬܶܬܩ̣ܰܪܰܒܝ ܠܡܰܫܟܢܳܟ

ولا تَدْنو الضَّربَةُ مِن خَيمَتِكَNor will a plague draw near your tentEt le fléau n’approchera pas de ta tenteWamhouto lo tetqarab l’mashknokh

ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕܰܠܡܰܠܰܐܟܰܘ̈ܗ̱ܝ ܢܦܰܩ̣ܶܕ ܥܠܰܝܟ

لأَنَّه أَوصى مَلائِكَتَه بِكَFor he will command his angels concerning youCar il ordonnera à ses anges à ton sujetMetoul dalmalakhaw nfaqed ’layk

ܕܰܢܢܰܛܪܽܘ̣ܢܳܟ ܒܟܽܠܗܶܝܢ ܐܽܘܖ̈ܚܳܬܳܟ

لِيَحفَظوكَ في جَميعِ طُرُقِكَTo guard you in all your waysPour te garder dans toutes tes voiesDannatrounokh b’khoulhén ourhotokh

ܘܥܰܠ ܕܖ̈ܳܥܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܢܶܫܩ̣ܠܽܘܢܳܟ

على أَيديهم يَحمِلونَكَAnd upon their arms they will bear you upEt sur leurs bras ils te porterontW’al dro’ayhoun neshqlounokh

ܕܠܳܐ ܬܶܬܩ̣ܰܠ ܒܪܶܓܠܳܟ

لِئَلاَّ تَصدِمَ بحَجَرٍ رجلَكَLest you strike your footDe peur que ton pied ne heurteD’lo tetqal b’reglokh

ܥܰܠ ܓܳܪܣܳܐ ܘܥܰܠ ܚܰܪܡܳܢܳܐ ܬܶܕܪܽܘ̣ܟ

تطأُ الأَسَدَ والأفعىYou will tread upon the adder and the viperTu marcheras sur le serpent et la vipère’Al gorso w’al harmono tedroukh

ܘܰܬܕܽܘ̣ܫ ܐܰܪܝܳܐ ܘܬܰܢܺܝܢܳܐ

تدوسُ الشِّبلَ والتنّينAnd you will trample the lion and the dragonEt tu fouleras le lion et le dragonWatdoush aryo w’tanino

ܡܶܛܽܘܠ ܕܠܺܝ ܒܥ̣ܳܐ ܐܶ݀ܦܰܨܶܝܘܗ̱ܝ

أُنجِّيه لأَنَّه تعَلَّق بيBecause he has clung to me, I will deliver himParce qu’il s’est attaché à moi, je le délivreraiMetoul d’li b’o efaséw

ܘܶܐ݀ܥܰܫܢܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕܺܝ̣ܕܰܥ ܫܶܡܝ

أَحْميهِ لأَنَّه عَرَفَ اسْميAnd I will strengthen him, for he has known my nameEt je le fortifierai, car il a connu mon nomWe’ashnéw metoul dida’ shem

ܢܶܩ̣ܪܶܝܢܝ ܘܶܐ݀ܥܢܶܝܘܗ̱ܝ

يَدعُوني فأُجيبُهHe will call upon me and I will answer himIl m’appellera et je lui répondraiNeqrén we’néw

ܥܰܡܶܗ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܒܽܐܘܠܨܳܢܳܐ

أَنَا معه في الضِّيقِI am with him in distressJe suis avec lui dans la détresse’Ameh eno b’oulsono

ܐܶ݀ܥܰܫܢܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ ܘܶܐ݀ܝܰܩܪܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ

فأُنقِذُه وأُمَجِّدُهI will strengthen him and honor himJe le fortifierai et je le glorifieraiE’ashnéw weyaqréw

ܢܽܘܓܪܳܐ ܕܝܰܘ̈ܡܳܬܳܐ ܐܶ݀ܣܰܒܥܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ

بِطولِ الأيّامِ أُشبِعُهWith length of days I will satisfy himDe longs jours je le rassasieraiNougro d’yawmoto esab’éw

ܘܶܐ݀ܚܰܘܶܝܘܗ̱ܝ ܦܽܘܪܩܳܢܝ

وأُريه خلاصيAnd I will show him my salvationEt je lui montrerai mon salutWehawéw fourqon

ܫܽܘܒܚܳܐ ܠܰܐܒܳܐ ܘܠܰܒܪܳܐ ܘܰܠܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܕܩܽܘܕܫܳܐ

ألمجدُ للآبِ والابْنِ والرُّوحِ القُدُسGlory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy SpiritGloire au Père et au Fils et au Saint-EspritShoubho l’Abo w’labro walrouho d’qoudsho

ܡܶܢ ܥܳܠܰܡ ܘܰܥܕܰܡܳܐ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܥܳܠܡܺܝ̈ܢ ܐܰܡܺܝܢ

مِنَ الأَزَلِ وإلى أَبَدِ الآبِدِين آمينFrom everlasting and unto the ages of ages, amenDepuis toujours et pour les siècles des siècles, amenMen ’olam wa’damo l’olam ’olmin amin
