سبّحي يا نفسي الربّPraise the Lord, O my soulLoue le Seigneur, ô mon âmeShabah nafsh l’Moryo

ܐܶ݀ܫܰܒܰܚ ܠܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܒܚܰܝܰܝ̈

أسبّحُ الربَّ في حياتيI will praise the Lord in my lifeJe louerai le Seigneur toute ma vieEshabah l’Moryo b’hayay

ܘܶܐ݀ܙܡܰܪ ܠܰܐܠܳܗܝ ܥܰܕ ܩܰܝܳܡ ܐ̱ܢܳܐ

وأرتّلُ لإلهي ما دُمتُ موجودًاAnd sing to my God while I have beingEt je chanterai pour mon Dieu tant que j’existeraiW’ezmar l’Aloh ’ad qayom no

ܠܳܐ ܬܶܬܰܟ̣ܠܽܘܢ ܥܰܠ ܫܰܠܺܝܛܳܐ ܘܥܰܠ ܒܰܪ ܐ̱ܢܳܫܳܐ

لا تتّكلوا على الرؤساءِ ولا على ابنِ الإنسانPut no trust in rulers, nor in a son of manNe vous fiez pas aux princes, ni au fils de l’hommeLo tetakhloun ’al shalito w’al barnosho

ܕܠܰܝܬ ܒܺܐܝܕܶܗ ܦܽܘܪܩܳܢܳܐ

الّذي ليس في يدِهِ الخلاصIn whose hand there is no salvationDans la main duquel il n’y a point de salutD’layt b’ideh fourqono

ܕܢܳܦ̇ܩܳܐ ܪܽܘܚܶܗ ܘܗܳ݀ܦܶܟ ܠܰܐܪܥܶܗ

تخرجُ روحُهُ فيعودُ إلى تُرابِهHis breath goes out, and he returns to his earthSon souffle s’en va, il retourne à sa terreD’nofqo rouheh w’hofekh l’ar’eh

ܘܰܒܗܰܘ̇ ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܐܳܒܕ̈ܳܢ ܟܽܠܗܶܝܢ ܡܰܚܫ̈ܒܳܬܶܗ

وفي ذلك اليومِ تهلِكُ جميعُ أفكارِهOn that day all his plans perishEn ce jour périssent toutes ses penséesWab’haw yawmo obdon koulhén mahshboteh

ܛܽܘܒܰܘܗ̱ܝ ܠܡܰܢ ܕܰܐܠܳܗܶܗ ܕܝܰܥܩܽܘܒ ܒܥܶܕܪܶܗ

طوبى لمَن إلهُ يعقوبَ في عونِهBlessed is he whose help is the God of JacobHeureux celui dont le secours est le Dieu de JacobToubaw l’man d’Aloheh d’Ya’qoub b’edreh

ܘܣܰܒܪܶܗ ܥܰܠ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܐܰܠܳܗܶܗ

ورجاؤهُ على الربِّ إلهِهAnd whose hope is in the Lord his GodEt dont l’espérance est dans le Seigneur son DieuW’sabreh ’al Moryo Aloheh

ܕܰܥܒ̣ܰܕ ܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܘܰܐܪܥܳܐ

الّذي صنَعَ السماءَ والأرضWho made heaven and earthQui a fait le ciel et la terreDa’bad shmayo war’o

ܘܝܰܡ̈ܡܶܐ ܘܟܽܠ ܕܺܐܝܬ ܒܗܽܘܢ

والبحارَ وكلَّ ما فيهاThe seas and all that is in themLes mers et tout ce qu’elles renfermentW’yamé w’khoul d’it b’houn

ܢܳ݀ܛܰܪ ܩܽܘܫܬܳܐ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ

الحافظُ الحقَّ إلى الأبدWho keeps truth foreverQui garde la vérité à jamaisNotar qoushto l’olam

ܘܥܳ݀ܒܶܕ ܕܺܝܢܳܐ ܠܰܛܠܺܝ̈ܡܶܐ

والصانعُ العدلَ للمظلومينWho executes justice for the oppressedQui fait justice aux opprimésW’obed dino la’tlimé

ܝܳ݀ܗܶܒ ܠܰܚܡܳܐ ܠܟܰܦ̈ܢܶܐ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ

الربُّ يُعطي الخبزَ للجياعThe Lord gives bread to the hungryLe Seigneur donne du pain aux affamésYoheb lahmo l’kafné Moryo

ܫܳ݀ܪܶܐ ܐܰܣܺܝܖ̈ܶܐ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ

الربُّ يحلُّ الأسرىThe Lord frees the prisonersLe Seigneur délie les captifsShoré asiré Moryo

ܦܳ݀ܬܰܚ ܥܘܺܝܖ̈ܶܐ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ

الربُّ يفتحُ أعينَ العميانThe Lord opens the eyes of the blindLe Seigneur ouvre les yeux des aveuglesFotah ’wiré Moryo

ܬܳܪܶܨ̇ ܟܦܺܝ̈ܦܶܐ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ

الربُّ يُقيمُ المنحنينThe Lord raises those who are bowed downLe Seigneur redresse ceux qui sont courbésTores kfifé Moryo

ܪܳܚܶ݀ܡ ܙܰܕܺܝ̈ܩܶܐ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ

الربُّ يحبُّ الصدّيقينThe Lord loves the righteousLe Seigneur aime les justesRohem zadiqé Moryo

ܘܰܡ̇ܢܰܛܰܪ ܠܡܶܣܟܺܝ̈ܢܶܐ

ويحفظُ المساكينAnd protects the poorEt il garde les pauvresWamnatar l’meskiné

ܡ̇ܬܰܪܣܶܐ ܠܝܰܬܡ̈ܶܐ ܘܠܰܐܖ̈ܡܠܳܬܳܐ

يعولُ الأيتامَ والأراملHe sustains the orphans and the widowsIl soutient les orphelins et les veuvesMtarsé l’yatmé wla’rmloto

ܘܽܐܘܪܚܳܐ ܕܥܰܘ̈ܳܠܶܐ ܡ̇ܛܰܒܰܥ

ويُبيدُ طريقَ الأشرارAnd the way of the wicked He brings to ruinEt il renverse la voie des méchantsW’ourho d’awolé mtaba’

ܐܰܡܠ̣ܶܟ ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ

يملِكُ الربُّ إلى الأبدThe Lord reigns foreverLe Seigneur règne à jamaisAmlekh Moryo l’olam

ܘܰܐܠܳܗܶܟܝ ܨܶܗܝܽܘܢ ܠܕܳܪܕܳܖ̈ܺܝܢ

وإلهُكِ يا صهيونُ لجيلٍ فجيلYour God, O Zion, from generation to generationTon Dieu, ô Sion, d’âge en âgeW’Alohekh Sehyoun l’dordorin

ܫܽܘܒܚܳܐ ܠܰܐܒܳܐ ܘܠܰܒܪܳܐ ܘܰܠܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܕܩܽܘܕܫܳܐ
