ܕܚ̣ܳܪ ܒܡܽܘܟܳܟܶܗ ܕܰܐܡܬܶܗ

لأنّه نظرَ إلى تواضِعِ أَمَتِهِFor He has looked upon the lowliness of His handmaidCar il a regardé l’humilité de sa servanteD’hor b’moukokheh d’amteh

ܗܳܐ ܓܶܝܪ ܡܶܢ ܗܳܫܳܐ

فها منذُ الآن حقًّاFor behold, from now onVoici que désormaisHo gér men hosho

ܛܽܘܒܳܐ ܢ̈ܶܬܠܳܢ ܠܺܝ ܫܰܪ̈ܒܳܬܳܐ ܟܽܠܗܶܝܢ

تطوّبُني جميعُ الأجيالAll generations will call me blessedToutes les générations me diront bienheureuseToubo netlon li sharboto koulhén

ܕܰܥܒ̣ܰܕ ܠܘܳܬܝ ܪܰܘܪ̈ܒܳܬܳܐ

لأنّه صنعَ لديّ العظائمَFor He has done great things for meCar il a fait pour moi de grandes chosesDa’bad lwot rawrboto

ܗܰܘ̇ ܕܚܰܝܠܬܳܢ ܘܩܰܕܺܝܫ ܫܡܶܗ

ذاك القديرُ واسمُهُ قدّوسٌHe who is mighty, and holy is His nameLui le Puissant, et saint est son nomHaw d’hayltan w’qadish shmeh

ܘܰܚܢܳܢܶܗ ܠܕܳܪ̈ܶܐ ܘܫܰܪ̈ܒܳܬܳܐ

وحنانُه إلى أجيالٍ وأجيالٍAnd His mercy is from generation to generationEt sa miséricorde s’étend d’âge en âgeWa’hnoneh l’doré w’sharboto

ܥܰܠ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕܕܳܚ̇ܠܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ

للّذين يخافُونَهُUpon those who fear HimSur ceux qui le craignent’Al aylén d’dohlin leh

ܥܒ̣ܰܕ ܙܳܟܽܘܬܳܐ ܒܰܕܪܳܥܶܗ

صنعَ نصرًا بساعدِهِHe has won victory with His armIl a déployé la force de son bras’Bad zokhouto ba’dro’eh

ܘܒ̣ܰܕܰܪ ܚܬܺܝܪ̈ܰܝ ܒܬܰܪܥܺܝܬܳܐ ܕܠܶܒܗܽܘܢ

وشتَّتَ المتكبّرين بفكرِ قلبِهمHe has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their heartsIl a dispersé les orgueilleux dans les pensées de leur cœurW’badar htiray b’tar’ito d’lebhoun

ܣܰܚ̣ܶܦ ܬܰܩܺܝ̈ܦܶܐ ܡܶܢ ܟܽܘܪ̈ܣܰܘܳܬܳܐ

أسقطَ المقتدرينَ عن العروشHe has cast down the mighty from their thronesIl a renversé les puissants de leurs trônesSahef taqifé men koursawoto

ܘܰܐܪܺܝ̣ܡ ܠܡܰܟܺܝ̈ܟܶܐ

ورفعَ المتواضعينAnd lifted up the lowlyEt élevé les humblesWa’rim l’makiké

ܟܰܦܢ̈ܶܐ ܣܰܒ̣ܰܥ ܛܳܒ̈ܳܬܳܐ

أشبعَ الجياعَ خيراتٍHe has filled the hungry with good thingsIl a comblé de biens les affamésKafné saba’ toboto

ܘܰܠܥܰܬܺܝܪ̈ܶܐ ܫ̣ܪܳܐ ܣܦܺܝܩܳܐܝܺܬ

والأغنياءُ أرسلَهم فارغينAnd sent the rich away emptyEt renvoyé les riches les mains videsWal’atiré shro sfiqoyit

ܥ̣ܰܕܰܪ ܠܺܐܝܣܪܳܐܝܶܠ ܥܰܒܕܶܗ

عضدَ إسرائيلَ عبدَهHe has helped Israel His servantIl a secouru Israël son serviteur’Adar l’Isroyel ’abdeh

ܘܶܐܬܕܟ̣ܰܪ ܚܢܳܢܶܗ

وذكَرَ حنانَهُAnd remembered His mercyEt s’est souvenu de sa miséricordeW’etdkhar hnoneh
