أحبَّكَ يا ربَّنا بطهارةٍWho has loved you, our Lord, with a pure heartQui t’a aimé, notre Seigneur, avec puretéD’rahmokh Moran dakhyoit

ܘܠܳܐ ܥܒ̣ܰܕ ܥܰܘܠܳܐ

ولم يرتكبْ إثمًاAnd has committed no iniquityEt n’a commis aucune iniquitéW’lo ’bad ’awlo

ܘܗܰܠ̣ܶܟ ܒܽܐܘܪܚܳܐ ܕܦܽܘܩܕܳܢܰܝ̈ܟ

ܘܰܫܩ̣ܰܠ ܨܠܺܝܒܶܗ

وحمَلَ صليبَهAnd has taken up his crossEt a pris sa croixWa’shqal slibeh

ܥܰܠ ܟܰܬܦܶܗ ܘܰܢܦ̣ܰܩ ܒܳܬܪܳܟ

على كتفِه وخرجَ في إثْرِكَUpon his shoulder and gone out after youSur son épaule et est parti à ta suite’Al katfeh wa’nfaq botrokh

ساعةِ خروجِه من هذا العالمOf his departure from this worldDe son départ de ce mondeD’mafaqteh men hon ’olmo
