ܠܟܶܢܫܳܐ ܥܶܠܳܝܳܐ ܕܶܐܫ̣ܬܠܰܚ ܠܬܶܫܒܽܘܚܬܳܐ

إلى الجَوقِ العُلْويِّ الّذي أُرسِلَ للتسبيحTo the heavenly assembly that was sent forth for praiseÀ l’assemblée céleste qui fut envoyée pour la louangeL’kensho ’eloyo d’eshtlah l’teshbouhto

ܠܙܰܒܢܳܐ ܢܰܨܺܝܚܳܐ ܕܶܐܬܪܫ̣ܶܡ ܠܦܽܘܪܩܳܢܳܐ

في الزمَنِ المجيدِ الّذي عُيِّنَ للخلاصto the glorious season that was appointed for salvationau temps glorieux qui fut fixé pour le salutL’zabno nasiho d’etrshem l’fourqono

ܐܳܦ ܠܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܒܪܺܝܟܳܐ ܕܶܐܬܢ̣ܛܰܪ ܠܚܰܕܘ̈ܳܬܳܐ

وفي اليومِ المبارَكِ الّذي حُفِظَ للأفراحand to the blessed day that was kept for rejoicinget au jour béni qui fut gardé pour les joiesOf l’yawmo brikho d’etntar l’hadwoto

ܐܶ݀ܩܪܽܘܒ ܠܶܗ ܒܚܽܘܒܳܐ ܐܳܦ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܘܶܐ݀ܬܦܨܰܚ

أنضَمُّ بحُبٍّ أنا أيضًا وأبتهجI too draw near to it with love and rejoicemoi aussi je m’en approche avec amour et je me réjouisEqroub leh b’houbo of eno w’etfsah

ܒܩܺܝ̈ܢܳܬܳܐ ܕܕܰܟܝ̈ܳܢ ܐ݀ܶܗܰܠܠܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ

أهلِّلُ بالأناشيدِ النقيّةWith songs that are pure I sing him praisePar des chants purs je le célèbreB’qinoto d’dakhyon ehalleliw

ܘܰܒܩܳܠܳܐ ܕܩܰܕܺܝܫ ܐ݀ܶܙܰܡܪܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ

وأرنِّمُ باللحنِ المقَدَّسand with the holy melody I chant to himet par la mélodie sainte je chante pour luiWab’qolo d’qadish ezamriw

ܠܗܰܘ̇ ܝܰܠܕܳܐ ܕܦ̣ܰܪܩܰܢܝ ܐܶ݀ܫܰܒܚܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ

وأمجِّدُ المولودَ الّذي خلَّصَنيand I glorify that Child who saved meet je glorifie cet Enfant qui m’a sauvéL’haw yaldo d’farqan eshabhiw

ܕܠܳܐ ܦܰܐܝܳܐ ܗ̱ܘܳܬ̣݀ ܕܡܶܢ ܙܰܪܥܶܗ ܕܝܰܘܣܶܦ ܕܢܶܬܺܝ̣ܠܶܕ

ما كان لائقًا أن يُولَدَ من زرعِ يوسفIt was not fitting that he be born of the seed of JosephIl ne convenait pas qu’il naisse de la semence de JosephD’lo fayo wot d’men zar’eh d’Yawsef d’netiled

ܘܠܳܐ ܒܶܠܥܳܕ ܝܰܘܣܶܦ ܡܶܢ ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕܢܶܬܒ̣ܛܶܢ

ولا أن تحبَلَ به مريمُ دونَ أن ينتميَ إلى يوسفnor that he be conceived of Mary apart from Josephni qu’il soit conçu de Marie en dehors de JosephW’lo bel’od Yawsef men Maryam d’netbten

ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕܺܝ̣ܠܶܕܬܶܗ ܠܳܐ ܐܶܬܟ̣ܬܶܒ ܒܰܫܡܳܗ̇

مريمُ الّتي ولَدَتْهُ لم يُسَجَّلْ باسمِهاMary who bore him — he was not recorded in her nameMarie qui l’enfanta — il ne fut pas inscrit en son nomMaryam d’iledteh lo etkteb ba’shmoh

ܘܝܰܘܣܶܦ ܕܡܰ݀ܟܬܶܒ ܠܰܘ ܙܰܪܥܶܗ ܗ̱ܽܘ̣ ܕܢܶܟܬܽܘ̣ܒ

ويوسفُ المخوَّلُ أن يسجِّلَه، ليسَ من زرعِه حتّى يُسَجِّلَهُand Joseph who registers him — it is not his seed that he registerset Joseph qui l’inscrit — ce n’est pas sa semence qu’il inscritW’Yawsef d’makteb law zar’eh ou d’nektoub

ܕܠܳܐ ܦܰܓܪܶܗ ܕܝܰܘܣܶܦ ܢܩ̣ܶܦ ܫܡܶܗ

من دونِ جسدِ يوسفَ لازَمَه اسمُ يوسفWithout the body of Joseph, his name clung to himSans le corps de Joseph, son nom lui est resté attachéD’lo faghreh d’Yawsef nqef shmeh

ܕܠܳܐ ܡܟܺܝܪܳܗ̇ ܕܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕܢ̣ܰܚ ܒܪܳܗ̇

ومن دونِ خطيبِ مريم أشرقَ ابنُ مريمwithout the betrothed of Mary, her Son shone forthsans le fiancé de Marie, son Fils a resplendiD’lo mkhiroh d’Maryam dnah broh

ܗܘ̣ܳܐ ܡܳܪܳܐ ܠܕܰܘܺܝܕ ܐܳܦ ܒܪܳܐ

قد صارَ ربًّا لداودَ وابنًا لهHe became Lord to David and also his sonIl est devenu Seigneur pour David et aussi son filsHwo moro l’Dawid of bro
