إِتْتْعِيْرْ إِتْتْعِيْرْ بَتْ عَمِاAwake, awake, O daughter of the nations!Réveille-toi, réveille-toi, ô fille des nations !Ett’ir ett’ir bat ’amé

ܘܰܙܡܼܰܪܝ ܫܽܘܒܚܳܐ ܒܦܽܘܡ ܝܰܠܕܰܝ̈ܟܝ

وَزْمَرْ شُوْبْحُا بْفُوْمْ يَلْدَيْكْSing glory in the mouths of your children,Chante la gloire dans la bouche de tes enfants,Wazmar shubho b’foum yaldayk

ܠܰܐܒܳܐ ܓܢܺܝܙܳܐ ܕܰܒܚܽܘܒܶܗ

لَابُا جْنِيْزُا دَبْحُوْبِهْTo the hidden Father who by His loveAu Père caché qui par Son amourL’Abo gnizo dab’houbeh

ܡܰܟ̣ܪܶܟܝ ܗ̱ܘ̣ܳܐ ܠܺܝܚܺܝܕܳܝܶܗ

مَكْرِخْ وُا لِيْحِيْدُيِهْhas espoused you to His only-begotten,t’a fiancée à Son fils unique,Makhrekh wo lihidoyeh

ܘܫܰܕܪܶܗ ܒܚܰܪܬܳܐ ܘܶܬܬܓܰܫ̣ܰܡ

وْشَدْرِهْ بْحَرْتُا وِاتْجَشَمْand sent Him in the end, and He became incarnateet l’a envoyé à la fin, et Il s’est incarné W’shadreh b’harto w’etgasham

ܡܶܢ ܒܰܪ̄ܬ ܕܰܘܺܝܕ

ܘܰܦܪܰܩ̣ ܒܶܪ̈ܝܳܬܳܐ

وَفْرَقْ بِرْيُتُاand delivered the creations.et a délivré les créatures.Wafraq beryoto

ܘܣܰܝܼܒܰܪ ܚܰܫ̈ܶܐ ܕܰܨܠܺܝܒܳܐ

وْسَيْبَرْ حَشِا دَصْلِيْبُاAnd He endured the pain of the cross,Et Il a supporté la douleur de la croix,W’saybar hashé da’slibo

ܡܶܛܽܘܠ ܐܳܕܳܡ ܚܰܝܳܒܳܐ

مِطُوْلْ أُدُمْ حَيُبُاfor Adam the sinner,pour Adam le pécheur,Metoul Odom hayobo

ܘܰܣܠ̣ܶܩ ܠܰܫܡܰܝ̈ܳܐ

وَسْلِقْ لَشْمَيُاand ascended into the heavens,et est monté aux cieux,Wasleq lashmayo

ܘܺܝܬܶܒ̣ ܡܶܢ ܝܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܰܒܽܘܗ̱ܝ

وِيْتِبْ مِنْ يَمِيْنْ أَبُوْيْand sat at the right hand of His Father,et s’est assis à la droite de Son Père,Witeb men yamin abou

ܘܚ̣ܰܕܺܝ ܒܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܕܢܽܘܚܳܡܶܗ

وْحَدِيْ بْيَوْمُا دْنُوْحُمِهْand rejoiced on the day of His resuscitation,et s’est réjoui le jour de sa résurrection,W’hadi b’yawmo d’nouhomeh

ܠܥܺܝܪ̈ܶܐ ܒܪܰܘܡܳܐ

لْعِيْرِا بْرَوْمُاamong the watchers on high,parmi les veillants d’en haut,L’iré b’rawmo

ܘܠܰܒܢܰܝ̈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܥܰܠ ܐܰܪܥܳܐ

وْلَبْنَيْنُشُا عَلْ أَرْعُاand for the sons of men upon the earth.et pour les fils des hommes sur la terre.Wlabnaynosho ’al ar’o
