ܕܬܶܪܡܣ̣ܶܐ ܒܶܣ̈ܡܶܐ ܥܰܠ ܚܰܝܳܐ ܕܒܶܝܬ ܥܰܢܺܝ̈ܕܶܐ ܫܳܐܪܳܐ

لتسكُبَ الطيوبَ على الحيِّ الّذي حلَّ في مثوى الأمواتTo pour the spices on the Living One who dwelt among the deadPour verser des parfums sur Celui qui est vivant et demeuré parmi les mortsD’termsé besmé ’al hayo d’bet ’anidé shoro

وكانَتْ تفكِّرُ في مَن سيدحرِجُ لهاAnd she wondered who would roll away for herEt elle se demandait qui allait rouler la pierre pour elleW’methashbo wot d’manou m’agel loh

ܠܟܺܐܦܳܐ ܕܣܺܝܡܳܐ ܥܰܠ ܬܰܪܥܶܗ ܕܩܰܒܪܳܐ

الحجرَ الموضوعَ على بابِ القبرThe stone placed over the entrance of the tombLa pierre placée sur l’entrée du tombeauL’kifo d’simo ’al tar’eh d’qabro

ܡܰܠܰܐܟܳܐ ܢܚ̣ܶܬ ܡܶܢ ܪܰܘܡܳܐ ܘܥܰܓܠܳܗ̇ ܠܟܺܐܦܳܐ

نزلَ الملاكُ من العُلى ودحرَجَ الحجرThe angel descended from above and rolled the stone awayL’ange est descendu d’en haut et a roulé la pierreMalakho nhet men rawmo w’agloh l’kifo
