ܐܰܘ̣ܪܶܒܰܝܢܝ ܡܳܪܝ ܐܰܘ̣ܪܶܒܰܝܢܝ

عَظِّمْني يا ربُّ عَظِّمْنيMake me great, my Lord, make me greatÉlève-moi, mon Seigneur, élève-moiAwrebayn Mor awrebayn

ܟܳܗܢܽܘܬܳܐ ܠܡܳܪܳܗ̇ ܐܶܡܪܰܬ̣݀

قالَ الكهنُوتُ لسيِّدِهsaid the Priesthood to her Lorddit le Sacerdoce à son SeigneurKohnouto l’Moroh emrat

ܘܶܐܡ̣ܰܪ ܠܳܗ̇ ܕܠܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ ܡܶܕܶܡ

فقالَ له السيّد: ليسَ لديَّ شيءٌAnd he said to her: there is nothingEt il lui dit : il n’est rienW’emar loh d’lo it medem

ܕܪܰܒ ܡܶܢ ܕܰܪܓܳܐ ܕܝܶܗ̇ܒܶܬ ܠܶܟܝ

أعظمُ من الدرجةِ الّتي سلّمتُكَ إيّاهاgreater than the rank I have given youde plus grand que le degré que je t’ai donnéD’rab men dargo d’yehbet lekh

ܠܳܐ ܓܽܘ̈ܕܶܐ ܕܒܶܝܬ ܓܰܒܪܺܐܝܶܠ

لا أجواقُ آلِ جبرائيلneither the choirs of the house of Gabrielni les chœurs de la maison de GabrielLo goudé d’bet Gabriyel

ܐܳܦܠܳܐ ܬܶܐܓ̈ܡܶܐ

ولا طُغُماتُnor the ranksni les rangsOflo tegmé

ܘܛܶܟ̈ܣܶܐ ܕܡܺܝܟܳܐܝܶܠ

ميخائيلَ أو صفوفُهُمand orders of Michaelet les ordres de MichelW’tekhsé d’Mikhoyel

ܕܪܰܒ ܗ̱ܽܘ̣ ܕܰܪܓܳܐ ܕܝܶܗ̇ܒܶܬ ܠܶܟܝ

عظيمةٌ هي الدرجةُ الّتي سلّمْتُكَ إيّاهاGreat is the rank I have given youGrand est le degré que je t’ai donnéD’rabou dargo d’yehbet lekh

ܕܡܰ݀ܣܶܩ ܠܪܰܘܡܳܐ ܕܰܫܡܰܝܳܐ

فهي تُرقِّيكَ إلى الأعالي السماوِيَّةfor it raises you to the height of heavencar il t’élève jusqu’aux hauteurs du cielD’maseq l’rawmo da’shmayo

ܡܳܐ ܦܶܐܐ ܘܫܰܦܺܝܪ ܠܳܗ̇

ما أجملَكَ وما أبهاكَHow comely and how fair she isQu’elle est belle et qu’elle est gracieuseMo fé w’shafir loh

ܟܰܕ ܩܳܝ̇ܡܳܐ ܒܗܰܝܟܰܠ ܩܽܘܕܫܳܐ

قائمًا في الهيكلِ المقدَّسas she stands in the holy templelorsqu’elle se tient dans le temple saintKad qoymo b’haykal qoudsho

ܘܫܳ݀ܐܠܳܐ ܪ̈ܰܚܡܶܐ ܘܰܚܢܳܢܳܐ

سائلًا المراحمَ والحنانasking for mercy and for compassiondemandant miséricorde et compassionW’sholo rahmé wa’hnono

ܘܰܡ̇ܦܺܝܣܳܐ ܠܶܗ

ومتضرّعًاand pleading with himet le suppliantWa’mfiso leh

ܠܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܚܠܳܦ ܚܰܛܳܝ̈ܶܐ
