ܩܽܘ̣ܡ ܠܳܟ ܝܰܘܣܶܦ ܠܳܐ ܬܶܬܦܰܫ̣ܰܟ

قُوْمْ لُخْ يَوْسِفْ لُا تِتْفَشَخْ Arise, Joseph, do not be dismayed Lève-toi, Joseph, ne sois pas consterné Qom lokh Yawsef la tethapashakh

ܥܰܠ ܗܰܘ̇ ܒܰܛܢܳܐ ܕܒܳ݀ܛܢܳܐ ܡܰܪܝܰܡ

عَلْ هَوْ بَطْنُا دْبُطْنُا مَرْيَمْ For in the womb of Mary Car dans le ventre de Marie ’al hau batna d’batna Maryam

ܒܬܽܘܠܬܳܐ ܦܳܝ̇ܫܳܐ ܘܗܳܘ̇ܝܳܐ ܐܶܡܳܐ

بْتُوْلْتُا فُيْشُا وْهُوْيُا إِمُا She will remain a virgin, yet she will become a mother Elle restera vierge mais deviendra mère Btultha faysha w-huya ima

ܠܝܰܠܕܶܗ ܕܰܐܒܳܐ ܡܶܠܬܳܐ ܚܰܝܳܐ

لْيَلْدِهْ دَابُا مِلْتُا حَيُا To the offspring of the Father, the living Word Pour la progéniture du Père, le Verbe vivant Layldeh de-abba malta khaya

ܡ̇ܪܰܒܶܐ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ ܠܶܗ ܠܗܰܘ̇ ܕܡܰܠܰܐܟ̈ܶܐ

مْرَبِا أَتْ لِهْ لْهَوْ دْمَلَاخِا You will raise him whom angels Tu élèveras celui que les anges Mraba at leh lahu d’malakhe

ܡ̇ܚܰܦܶܝܢ ܐܰܦ̈ܶܐ ܡܶܢ ܢܰܒܪܶܫܬܶܗ

مْحَفِنْ أَفِا مِنْ نَبْرِشْتِهْ shield their faces from his glory protègent leurs visages de sa gloire Mhafin afe min nabrishteh

ܠܗܰܘ̇ ܩܕܽܘܫ ܩܽܘܕܺܝ̈ܢ ܕܳܡ̇ܝܳܐ ܡܰܪܝܰܡ

لْهَوْ قْدُوْشْ قُوْدْشِيْنْ دُمْيُا مَرْيَمْ Mary, becoming the Holy of Holies Marie, devenue le Saint des Saints Lhaw qudshayn qadishin d’Marya

ܘܰܠܪܺܝܫ ܟܳܗ̈ܢܶܐ ܡܶ݀ܬܦܰܚܰܡ ܐܰܢ̱ܬ

وَلْرِيْشْ كُهْنِا مِتْفَحَمْ أَتْ And you equalling the Great Priest Et toi égalant le Grand Prêtre Wal-rish kahne metpaham at

ܣ̣ܰܒ ܒܰܨܠܽܘܬܰܢ ܥܶܛܪܳܐ ܡܒܰܣܡܳܐ

سَبْ بَصْلُوْتَنْ عِطْرُا مْبَسْمُا Receive our prayer as sweet fragrance Reçois notre prière comme un doux parfum Sab b’salutan ‘atra mbasama

ܘܩܰܪܶܒ̣ܶܝܗ̇ ܠܶܗ ܠܰܡܠܶܟ ܡܰܠܟ̈ܶܐ

وْقَرِبِهْ لِهْ لَمْلِكْ مَلْكِا And present it to the King of Kings Et présente-la au Roi des Rois W’qaribih leh l’melek malkaya

ܕܗ̣ܽܘ ܢܶܬܪܰܥ̣ܶܐ ܥܠܰܝܢ ܚܰܛܳܝ̈ܶܐ

دْهُوْ نِتْرَعِا عْلَيْنْ حَطُيِا That He may have mercy on us sinners Afin qu’Il ait pitié de nous, pécheurs Dhu nethra’a ‘alayn khataye

ܒܓܰܠܝܽܘܬ ܐܰܦ̈ܶܐ ܕܺܐܝܬ ܠܳܟ ܨܶܝܕܰܘܗ̱ܝ

بْجَلْيُوْتْ أَفِا دِيْتْ لُخْ صِدَوْ Through the intercession granted to you Par l’intercession qui t’est accordée Bajliyut afa di l’kh sidawhi
